Auburn - 23, Georgia - 23 The Bulldogs ended up settling for field goals at the end of their first two drives, giving them a six point lead. The Tigers answered back with a field goal of their own before Stephen Davis finished off one of their following drives with a five yard touchdown run, giving Auburn the lead. After the Tigers missed the extra point attempt, Georgia drove down the field where they ended up with another field goal, tying the game up at nine apiece. In the second half the game continued to go back and forth with neither team wanting to give ground to the other, which helped the Georgia Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers finish the game tied 23-23.
